The SDI scope mount and Bresser Condor scope have been specifically designed for the new DCM/NRA Optical Service Rifle rules. The SDI mount gives you maximum flexibility on scope mounting position and exact repeatability on moving or removing the scope and mount from the rifle. The mount has a 3-inch forward extension over the hand guard to let you position the scope correctly. The lower rail is made to the new NATO STANAG 4694 specification not the old MIL-SPC 1913 specification. The military finally realized that the old 1913 spec was not repeatable on moving or removing the scope. The upper rail is a European dovetail which is also repeatable upon moving or removing the scope and rings. The rings have 6 available positions covering a 2 ½ inch range. The rings are machined steel and are extremely accurate. The Bresser Condor 1-4x24 is a fully waterproof, fog-proof, nitrogen purged rifle scope with a 30mm main tube. It's a solidly built optic with a one-piece aluminum body, and has some noticeable improvements over its predecessor. Glass quality has been massively improved, with a notable decrease in chromatic aberration, as well as a huge increase in clarity. The 24 mm objective diameter of this scope gathers 44% more light than other makes with only a 20 mm objective. The Bresser Condor has German #4 reticle and an available illuminated red dot. A common complaint about rifle scopes is that they have turrets that seem imprecise and lack tactile feedback. The 1/4 minute clicks on the turrets are astonishingly precise and exhibit excellent audible and tactile feedback. The turrets on this scope give you plus or minus 13 minutes of adjustment on a single turn. Zero the turret scales at your 300 yard zero then go down 2 1/2 minutes for 200 yards and up 11 minutes for 600 yards.Treat the knobs like they are right handed screws. Turn clockwise for down and left and counterclockwise for up and right. You don't have to look just reach up and feel the clicks.
